The fair of minerals and gems in Tucson is certainly the largest and most entertaining trade fair in the world of our industry.
You have to rent a car for a week and go between tensile structures, encampments, motels, hotels and warehouses. You can find everything, skulls of prehistoric man, meteorites, minerals, gems, pearls and so on …..
As soon as my son Fabio and I arrive with the car we start to turn a bit ‘randomly letting us take the’ intuition.
The first settlement is a large expanse full of African stalls, it seems to be in a market in Africa. “Here we lose time Dad, precious there can not be anything”.
Wait, 10 minutes of Africa always do me good since it’s a bit ‘of time that I’m not going, turn a moment to “mesh”.

After a while I was attracted to a stall with some ancient / old Malian bronzes, very special but thrown all in bulk and immediately triggered the sense for which I decided to stop in this place: why not buy someone and embellish it as it deserves.
Here is the result.
I do not know if I have composed something pleasantly harmonious, I know that these bronzes loved it, now they feel important and precious, admired by the people who took them home.
